Sanitary Pads

To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity.” – Nelson Mandela

In many parts of Kenya, adolescent girls face significant challenges during menstruation due to limited access to sanitary products. This lack often leads to embarrassment, stigma, and health risks, causing many to miss school. Studies show that approximately one in ten girls in Sub-Saharan Africa misses school during their menstrual cycle—adding up to nearly 20% of the academic year.
