
SOLAR POWER LANTERNS
In 2012 using his own funds and donations from friends, Protus took 28 solar powered Lanterns back to children in his village, as a result, 21 of those children are going to a university or a trade school this year.

SANITARY PADS
“You educate a girl you educate a community” Girl child empowerment is one focus of Lanterns for Light Foundation. We are committed to help the female youth stay in school and attain her full potential.

HEALTH
Masaba Health Center provides basic health services which include curative and preventive care to the people of Masaba village and the surrounding area. This is a community based initiative which has been providing health services since 2007 with its main sponsor being the ACK Masaba Parish.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH LIBRARIES
One of the main challenges of students in rural Kenya villages is lack of books. This communities do no have a local library facility in near site.

SUPPORTING LOCAL CHURCHES
We at Lanterns of Light our faith has been our biggest strength. Ours has been to serve and to go where the Lord leads us to provide services to his people.
