We believe that the primary catalyst for individual and cultural transformations is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Bible distribution and putting the word of God in the hands of all is our primary goal.
"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God". The Bible is the word of God. The potential to reach in love and transform a single life is incredible.
The great commission Matthew 28:19.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit.”
Part of making disciples is getting the word of God to the people. That’s a commitment of Lanterns for Light. We have distributed Bibles to Primary School kids, High School Students and to various local churches in Kenya.
A Bible in Kenya costs about $8 to $12 dollars, which is above the means of many. Through financial donations and support from well-wishers, Lanterns for Light Foundation can buy Bibles in bulk in the United States and ship them to Kenya at a total cost of $2.50 each.
